Power Source Technologies, Inc. was founded to pursue the development of the Legacy Engine. The Legacy Engine is revolutionary, patented, new heavy-fuel internal combustion engine with unparalleled power density. Results of a privately funded research and development effort including modeling, simulation and analysis show potential for breakthrough performance gains. The Legacy Engine represents a potential for near-term, low cost, disruptive technology that could fulfill the U.S. Military and industry needs for power generation and propulsion.

The Legacy engine GEN002 prototype was successfully tested on October 1, 2007. Sustained compression ignition of diesel fuel has been achieved during numerous tests. Combustion tests are scheduled to continue through the first quarter of 2008.
