National Transportation Research Center Partnership
In 2009, PST began working with the National Transportation Research Center, Inc. (NTRCI), Knoxville, TN, which partners with the U.S. Government to promote the development and deployment of advanced transportation technologies through research, testing and commercialization. NTRCI identified the Legacy engine as a technology that will be attractive to transportation operators while reducing fossil fuel consumption. In the coming weeks, NTRCI will receive its first Federal funding for the Legacy engine, $500,000 from the U.S. Department of Energy. Currently PST is pursuing other Federal funding opportunities as well.
