PST was founded in the fall of 2003 for the purpose of developing and commercializing the Legacy engine. Over the years PST has assembled a management team that consists of experienced business, engineering, legal and accounting professionals. As a technology start-up company we have operated on a very tight budget. However, we have maintained a science-based research approach throughout the project, as well as forming a foundation of strategic partners capable of developing the Legacy engine technology. PST current holds two patents on the Legacy engine technology with a third pending and a fourth patent currently being drafted.
PST has been privately funded since its inception. Only recently have we received outside assistance through The University of Tennessee's Center for Industrial Services. This assistance will be in the form of cost sharing the Phase I effort. PST has with private funds designed, fabricated and tested a proof of geometry model and a proof of principle first-generation test configuration (GEN001). PST has established a modeling/simulation program to improve the engine design and used this information to design and fabricate a second-generation test configuration (GEN002) that will be a fully operational engine to be tested during a Phase I effort. Our commitment to the project and willingness to team with others has allowed our company to continue on the path to commercialization of the Legacy engine.
